Pow Wow is a Saturday-only event for WEBELOS, Cub Scouts, Scouts, BSA, Venture Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Seas Scouts. All registrants are invited to experience:
Feather Dressing
Teepee Story Telling
Yucca Cord Making
Native Plant Hike
Evening Pow Wow
Pow Wow dancing
drumming and singing
With the exception of the Wewanoma Lodge 272 Ceremonies Team and those with personal Tribal affiliations, American Indian inspired clothing and dress will no longer be allowed at Wewonoma Lodge 272 events, including PowWow 2021. Thank you for your understanding in this matter as we strive to respectfully use American Indian symbols and clothing in the Order of the Arrow.
Cub Scouts (Kinder-4th Grade) this is a day event only. There will be an instructional Indian Dance “ Pow-Wow” on Saturday night @7:30pm. This is a MUST SEE! WEBELOS (5th Grade) may camp for the weekend, only if they are with a host Scout Troop. Please make arrangements with your Scoutmaster. Check in for Cub Scouts will begin at 7:00AM on Saturday December 4th.
