Dear Scout Leaders/Parents,
The Rio Grande Council is proud and excited to open the application phase for the 2026 National Jamboree. The Jamboree trip will run from July 20 to 31, 2026 and the proposed cost is $3,700.00. The final dates and cost are approximate and can change as the pre-Jamboree tour is not set at this time and cost could change depending on travel cost. The applications for Adults and Youth are attached and will be posted on the Council website. Please encourage all those interested to complete them as soon as possible. The application has several questions and is very easy to complete. So please encourage your scouts and scouters to send them in as soon as they can. The payment plan requires all scouts to make a $500.00 deposit at the time of registration by 10/25/25, next payment of $435 by 11/25/25 and following 7 payments of $375.00 by the 25th of each month (December 2025 - June 2026). Adults are requested not to make the deposit at the time of application as all applicants will be reviewed and approved by the Council. Once you have been approved your deposit is required.
